Neuro-Divergent or Neuro-Emergent?
(An Evolution of the Human Brain)
In this talk, we share our personal journeys of neurodiversity and explore the idea that neurodivergence is not a defect to be fixed, but an evolution of the human brain.
Rather than being “disordered,” many neurodivergent people are simply living in a world that was not designed for the way their minds work. As more diverse brains emerge, we believe we are being invited to reshape the world – our systems, environments, and ways of living – to support new ways of thinking, sensing, and relating.
We also explore how this understanding led us to seek support from nature and holistic practices, rather than relying solely on pharmaceuticals – listening to the body, the nervous system, and the wisdom of the natural world as allies in wellbeing and balance.
This is an invitation to reframe difference as intelligence, sensitivity as strength, and diversity as the future.
