Clinical massage, Deep tissue massage, Massage, Pregnancy, Sports Massage, Therapist

Leila is a Jing Method™ Advanced Remedial, Sports, Therapeutic & Pregnancy Massage Therapist. She is qualified to treat a wide range of chronic musculoskeletal pain conditions, including low back pain, neck pain, headaches, whiplash, frozen shoulder, scoliosis, thoracic outlet syndrome, RSI, fibromyalgia, nerve issues, sporting injuries, and many other ongoing injury or pain-related concerns.

As an advanced massage therapist, Leila is trained in a variety of safe and effective soft tissue and massage techniques aimed at reducing pain and increasing mobility—often within 1–6 clinical treatments. Her approach is similar to that of a physiotherapist: she assesses the body holistically, treats the root cause of dysfunction, and provides tailored treatment and self-care and rehabilitation exercises to support long-term recovery and resilience.

The techniques she uses include direct and indirect fascial work, trigger point therapy, acupressure, soft tissue release, assisted stretching, and therapeutic movement practices. Leila brings valuable experience from working in complementary health and physiotherapy clinics, where she collaborated with a wide range of practitioners to support integrated, holistic care for clients. She uses a warm, heart-centred approach that considers both physical and emotional needs and is committed to working alongside you to achieve meaningful, lasting results.

Remedial Massage: Leila offers Remedial massage which is a therapeutic treatment that uses manual techniques to address musculoskeletal imbalances, injuries, and chronic pain. It’s a targeted approach to relieve muscle tension, reduce pain, and improve overall physical function. Unlike general relaxation massage, remedial massage focuses on specific areas of concern and often involves techniques like deep tissue massage, trigger point work, myofascial release, acupressure, and assisted stretching.

Sports Massage: Leila offers sports massage to more active individuals, aiding recovery, and preventing injuries. This is a more active style of massage and it involves deep tissue work similar to Remedial massage, manipulating soft tissues using various techniques to address specific needs related to physical activity.

Pregnancy Massage: Leila offers both pre and post natal massage to help mothers during and after their pregnancy. Pregnancy massage is used to help alleviate symptoms common in pregnancy such as sciatica symptoms, lower back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, ankle swelling and help relaxation in preparation for birth.
