Location: Float Spa, Church Road, Brighton
Hours: 20 – 30 hour per week(Flexible shift patterns including evenings/weekends)

At Float Spa, the role of a Spa Associate goes beyond daily duties – it’s about delivering transformational experiences that leave a lasting impact. We operate with two guiding principles:
You are the first and last touchpoint in the client’s journey. Your warmth, care, and professionalism are essential to helping people feel safe, seen, and nurtured.
You will:
Welcome every client as if they’re entering a sanctuary, not just a spa.
Anticipate and respond to their needs with thoughtful attention.
Educate and empower clients before their float, sauna, or massage sessions.
Gently encourage rebooking to support their ongoing wellbeing.
A great journey is seamless and intentional—your role is to ensure every step flows effortlessly.
Kaizen is the practice of constant, proactive improvement. Whether it’s refining a system, streamlining a process, or improving client experience, every team member plays a part in evolving our standards.
You’ll be encouraged to:
Look for ways to improve both client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Suggest and implement positive changes – no matter how small.
Greet clients warmly and make them feel at ease from the moment they arrive.
Conduct thorough and friendly new client orientations.
Manage check-ins and check-outs smoothly and efficiently.
Stay fully present – clients should always feel they have your full attention.
Offer rebooking and membership suggestions with care and confidence.
Check Trello and emails throughout your shift – not just at the start.
Stay up to date with internal notes and client requests via Trello.
Respond to emails and answer phones promptly and professionally.
Communicate with the team through Trello – avoid messaging outside work hours.
Be self-sufficient – if it’s in Trello or email, find it before asking.
Confidently recommend add-on services to enhance the client experience.
Promote memberships, packages, and gift vouchers when appropriate.
Understand the value of our services and share that knowledge genuinely.
Ensure rooms and equipment are immaculate between clients.
Maintain float pool chemistry and monitor hygiene standards.
Keep all areas tidy, clean, and well-stocked.
Take initiative – fix small issues before they become big ones.
Stay calm, kind, and professional, no matter the situation.
Respect team boundaries – no unnecessary out-of-hours messages.
Support colleagues and ensure seamless handovers between shifts.
Take ownership of your space, your responsibilities, and your client interactions.
