About the event

On Saturday 7th March 2026, Float Spa is proud to celebrate International Women’s Day with a series of special classes honouring the incredible women who work alongside us and the powerful community of women who walk through our doors every single day.

As a proudly female founded business, this day means something deeply personal to us.

This year’s theme is Give to Gain and we are embodying that fully.
✨ All bookings are made via the usual timetable
✨ 100% of proceeds will be donated to WOLO Foundation, supporting local families affected by cancer

When we give, we strengthen each other. When we gather, we rise together.

12:00–12:45pm

Laughter Yoga with Camille

A unique and uplifting experience where anyone can laugh without relying on humour, jokes or comedy.

This is not about being funny. It is about choosing to laugh as a physical exercise and allowing the body to respond.

In daily life, laughter often lasts only a few seconds at a time. While those bursts feel good, they are rarely long enough to create lasting physiological or psychological change. Research and observation suggest we need 10 to 15 minutes of sustained laughter per day to experience meaningful benefits. Laughter Yoga makes this possible by turning laughter into a guided and intentional practice.

The exercises are playful and accessible. At first the laughter may feel intentional. That is part of the process. Very quickly, something shifts. The body cannot distinguish between real and voluntary laughter when practised with willingness and energy. What begins as an exercise soon becomes genuine and contagious. Shoulders drop. Faces brighten. The sound of laughter fills the space and feeds itself.

Combined with yogic breathing techniques, deep inhalations and extended exhalations increase oxygen to the body and brain, supporting clarity and vitality. Endorphins and dopamine rise while stress hormones reduce. Mood lifts within minutes.

This was a massive hit at our birthday celebration and we cannot wait to bring it back.

2:00–2:45pm

“Honouring the Tree You Are” with Sally Mady

In this reflective and empowering workshop, we’ll use the Tree of Life exercise to explore the woman you’ve become: your roots, your strengths, your resilience and the dreams still growing within you.

Through guided prompts, you’ll reconnect with your story, recognise the storms you’ve survived and honour the strength that has always been there.

A grounding and uplifting session to celebrate identity, growth and the powerful woman you already are.

6:00–6:45pm

Yoga Trance Dance with Bryony Joy

Meditation or yoga trance dance is a movement meditation with music as the teacher. It is a unique experience that guarantees good vibes and no hangovers.

Led by Bryony, this is part guided and part free flow meditation with accessible slow flow yoga throughout. No yoga experience is needed and beginners are always welcome.

We begin seated in candlelight with breathwork and grounding in the circle space before moving into simple slow yoga. As the rhythm changes, we move in spontaneous flow while Bryony guides rhythmic kriyas to raise the vibration.

The ecstatic dance phase invites the music to lead us through world music, ambient trance, live percussion and uplifting rhythms. We then slow down with stretches, deep relaxation and a closing meditation by candlelight, finishing with a beautiful gong bath.

Everyone is welcome to dance for joy. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in.

This International Women’s Day, we invite you to gather, to move, to laugh and to reflect.

Give your energy.
Give your presence.
Give your support to a powerful local cause.

And in return, gain connection, strength and community. ✨
