Jennie initially turned to yoga teacher training to understand and relieve chronic back pain after exhausting treatment options. She continued to further her knowledge by studying with teachers, predominantly with a background in the Iyengar or Tantra lineage, who she found inspirational and remains a student today. Yoga has been a path of healing for Jennie, which has deepened her sense of self and enriched her experience of life. She offers the safety of an alignment based practice combined with great respect for the nervous system and the subtle energy body.
Jennie teaches Hatha, Yin, slow Vinyasa Flow, Yoga Nidra, Pranayama, Breathwork and Soundbaths. She is also trained in Reiki, Sound Therapy and Massage Therapy.
Jennie blends elements of movement, sound, breath and touch to allow students to softly open and be present with their individual experience. She has a gentle approach, encouraging compassionate self acceptance through curiosity and self enquiry.
