AYM combines deep tissue massage with coordinated breath-work and yoga stretching. Similar to Thai massage, Ayurvedic Yoga Massage is performed on a mat allowing for a full range of stretching. In addition; the deep tissue massage dissolves physical tension, while the assisted stretches and breath exercises realign the body and stimulate the natural flow of energy.
Ayurvedic Yoga Massage is a fantastic complementary practice for yoga teachers, personal trainers, health and wellness professionals and anyone interested in bodywork.
PRE-REQUISITE
The course is suited for everyone with an open mind and a genuine interest in massage.
Beginners and professionals are all welcome.
DIPLOMA & PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATION:
The AYM Institute diploma, certification and teachers are all recognised by the Complimentary Therapists Association CThA, the principal governing body that regulates therapists. The CThA has the most exacting standards for recognition of both curriculum and instructors in the UK.
Hosted at Float Training Academy in Brighton, the AYM Institute diploma is divided into 3 weekend intensives
On completion of all 3 levels students qualify for the recognised AYM Institute practitioner diploma.
Classes are taught by AYM Institute & CThA approved Instructor Nathan Synge.
